The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding : The Bible of Bodybuilding, Fully Updated and Revised is probably the best book you can get for your working out questions. Well, if you are not looking to build muscle there might be better ones but this book covers the fundamentals. This really is not the sort of book you read cover to cover, nope most of the pages are encyclopedic catalogs of exercises by muscle group.
