I thought about writing a detailed review of these sights, then I realized that seeing them is more important. So I took a bunch of pictures (which I took with my iPhone) and made a few notes. Oh… did I mention Trijicon Night Sights are made with tritium, making them moderately radioactive?
I knew these would be cool when I ordered them but once installed you can tell how much of a difference they really make.
Installation Trijicon Night Sights on an Springfield XD
I should have said, “Taking your Springfield XD slide and Trijicon Night Sights to a gunsmith”, which is exactly what you need to do. It costs about $25 and you really don’t want to do this yourself.
Buying Trijicon Night Sights
I got mine from a seller on Amazon. Hunting Stuff shipped the Trijicon Night Sights the same day as the order and they arrived three full days before Amazon’s estimated arrival date. As much as I would like to send them more business, it looks like they are no longer carrying Trijicon Night Sights. If you can find Night Sights locally, good for you. They should cost around $80
