GOP Reverses Course on “Club” Incident

Looking at this club story, I feel that the GOP really missed an opportunity. I decided to write an alternate press release:

GOP Supports Free Market Loving Americans [Alternate Press Release]

The GOP in keeping with its long held “big tent” belief, today created the Alternative Industry Outreach division. The AIO will focus on free market loving small business that previously have not been represented by the GOP and marginalized by left wing feminist moments inside the Democratic party. The division will be lead by [staffer who was just canned]. The move reaffirms the GOP’s ideal that any business that is arousing local economys should be represented. GOP want Americans to know that it will thrust and grind until economic dysfunction (a.k.a ED) is rectified.

Gold People. This would win votes.

New Years Resolutions

January 5th, 2010

So after trashing people who utterly fail at their new years resolutions, I figure that its only fair that people know what I am working toward. So here goes:

  • Gain 10 more pounds of muscle, bringing my weight to 180lbs.
  • After attaining weight goal, drop my body fat by 3% from 9% to 6%.
  • Take at least one and preferably two firearm training courses.
  • Complete the flooring in our house.
  • Get ready to replace my much loved and much used (2001/170k miles) Suby Outback.
  • Buy some real furniture (anything from Ikea does not count)
  • Take my wife on vacation to some place neither of us have ever been.

If Only There Was A Good Firearms Blog…

Wish you could get great new about the firearms without constant ads for the NRA or whining about politics? Look no further than The Firearm Blog. This guys sub title “Firearms Not Politics” is completely accurate. I have to say that I consistently enjoy his posts. Not to mention that he is one of the few gun nut bloggers that can actually put together a decent looking website.

If you want to add another great blog to your reader check out Wired’s Danger Room. By far my favorite national security blog.
